Welcome to Spectrum Support Coaching Solutions

At Spectrum Support Coaching Solutions, I provide personalized counseling (Licensed Professional Counselor/LPC) or Coaching tailored to the unique needs of individuals on the autism spectrum or anyone else who wants to learn about ASD. My services are designed to empower and support each person’s journey. Let someone on the spectrum and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist help you!

I am also  a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Survivor Practitioner! That means if you are in a relationship with anyone who falls into that category, be it a coworker, family member, significant other, friend, church member, etc I can help you understand the game you are in (probably without knowing it), how to figure out what is actually going on, recognize it in the moment, find ways to not take it personally, and learn to transmute the frustrations. I educate you and help support you, because narcissists have a way of making us feel like WE are the crazy ones! So if you need help with a narcissist in your life, I can help you with that too!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference in coaching versus counseling?

A Simple Way to Put It:

  • Counseling helps you heal.

  • Coaching helps you grow.

Counseling vs. Coaching: Which Do You Need?

Counseling is ideal when you're struggling with emotional, psychological, or trauma-related issues from your past or present that are affecting your daily life. It helps you process pain, heal, and build mental health stability.

  • You may benefit from counseling if you’re:

    • Dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, or unresolved trauma

    • Feeling stuck in emotional patterns or relationship cycles

    • Trying to understand and heal from past experiences

    • Experiencing distress that impacts your daily functioning

Coaching focuses on where you are now and helps you set and achieve personal or professional goals. It’s action-oriented, often involving strategy, accountability, and future planning.

  • You may benefit from coaching if you’re:

    • Seeking direction, motivation, or structure to move forward

    • Wanting to improve confidence, communication, or life balance

    • Navigating a life transition (career change, divorce, healing from narcissistic abuse)

    • Ready to make progress but feel blocked or overwhelmed

  • please ask if you are unsure which is best for you and your situation.

Do I have to be in Oklahoma?

No for coaching, I am able to see anyone, anywhere through online sessions.

Yes for counseling. You must be a resident of Oklahoma and be in the state at the time of your session.

What are your qualifications?

I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 8 years. I have speciality certifications for Autism, Trauma, and Narcisstic Abuse Survivors.

I am have been previously diagnosed with ASD, GAD, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD; so I have 49 years of LIFE experience. Both of my now adult children are also on the spectrum.

I have a life coaching certification as well.

Why do you use multiple names for ASD?

"Autism," "Asperger's," and "PDD-NOS" were used once, but now it is all under considered Autism Spectrum Disorder with "levels."

Level 1, think of formerly "Asperger's," or "high functioning," which are now condsidered by many as "offensive." It's very confusing depending on the age of the person you are talking to about ASD.  I try my best to use the terminology the client is best comfortable with, and I never want to offend anyone. Please be aware I was taught as the former, and as an ASDer, it's hard for me to call it something different. I'm trying to use "ASD" as a blanket terminology to help my brain with the change. ASDers don't like changes as we tend to write things in stone when we learn them.

Currently the DSM-5 uses three ASD levels of severity: Level 1 (“requiring support”), Level 2 (“requiring substantial support”), and Level 3 (“requiring very substantial support”). Asperger's and PDD-NOS are no longer used by the DSM.

How do you help a Narcissistic Abuse Survivor?

I help educate you about what is happening and why, then I help you learn to recognize it in the moment, ways to react/or not react and why, and then I support you through your journey of healing. I have a special understanding of these types of relationships as well, so you will be talking to someone who won't think you're crazy as you explain what's going on.

Do you see anything other than Autism or Narcissistic Abuse Survivors?

Yes, I have a Masters Degree in Human Relations with an Emphasis on Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. I have been working with clients since 2017. I can see multiple other issues like anxiety, depression, couples counseling, family issues, overall stress, parenting issues, etc. If you are unsure, please ask!

I'm not sure where I would be mentally without Carrie's knowledge and insight on how to navigate the trauma I gained from the relationship. She is very professional and caring, which was appreciated.
